One of the most important new features of the Matterport 2024 Fall Release is Merge. Merge now allows you to manage separate spaces, scanned in batches, as 1 project. There is now no need to visually link these spaces together during scanning.
Why is the Merge feature useful?
- We can now edit larger areas at once, making it much easier to see through buildings with many parts.
- We can add new spaces to projects at any time.
- The separate scanners are linked together to create a transparent, easy-to-use interface.
- It's great for teamwork, people scanning work on the same project, so it also makes project management easier.
